Academics

We believe in a rigorous academic education that develops strong readers, writers, speakers, scientists, historians and mathematicians. It is vital that our students have a sound basic education that also allows them to think critically and creatively. We want your child to be excited about learning and discovering new things.

Crown Prep strives for academic excellence and a scholarly approach in every facet of student learning. We want students to experience academic rigor that leads them to fulfilling their potential. Our core curriculum will be ABEKA with supplemental lessons from Christian Schools International Bible and Science curriculum.

Our Educational Philosophy

The philosophy of Education of Crown Preparatory Academy is rooted in the Word of God and faith in Jesus Christ. We stand on the belief that God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient Creator. All things exist by the Word of His power and are sustained by Him (Colossians 1:17). We believe that education must rely on God rather than the weakness of man.

We stand on a Biblical worldview, academic excellence and developing Christian character. We believe God has a unique purpose for each child that will lead them to greatness for Kingdom living. Our goal is to prepare our students for whatever is their God given assignment.

We believe that the Bible gives the responsibility of training their children in Christian principles to their parents. We partner with parents to nurture, teach and train their child to excel, to love learning, to discover new things and of utmost importance to grow in their personal relationship with Father God.

What can students expect?

Crown Prep students can expect to participate in a structured, creative and fun school environment. There will be opportunities for students to experience extra language enrichment such as Monthly themes, Word of the day, word study groups, Spelling Bees, Writing contests, Book clubs, public speaking and lunchtime conversation.

Our STEM emphasis will involve Building Bridges competition, Monthly STEM Day and an annual Invention Convention.

Students can create 3D, projects, make photo journals, use sewing machines and create building projects among other things.

Crown Prep students will start the day with Praise and Worship, Scripture memory and Praise Reports/Prayer requests. They will have a weekly chapel where there will be Praise and Worship, a Gospel message and students sharing scriptures.

Lunch and Conversation

Crown Prep students will have half an hour for lunch everyday. Staff will join the tables to assist with lunch, share etiquette tips and conversation starters.
